A fast-paced, ballet-style workout that includes elements of yoga, Pilates and classical dance. It's all designed to tone your upper body while also tightening your buttocks (e.g. the beginning segment strengthens your arms with bicep curls, while engaging your abs and working your legs with pulsed plies). That's followed by "barrework" -- a smooth-flowing sequence of lunges, squats, leg lifts and curtseys (holding the back of a chair). The program ends with Pilates abwork and a series of deep stretches. Tracey maximizes the interest and intensity with accelerated movements, high reps, varied tempos and challenging positions. Requires 3 to 5 lb. dumbbells; a squeezable ball is used in one short segment.
